Terms of Service.

TalentConnect operates a platform that connects students and job seekers ("Students") with companies seeking to hire talent ("Companies") using skill assessments, behavioral data, and a matching engine designed to identify strong fits between candidates and roles.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. When you register, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

We offer two account types:

• Student accounts, for individuals seeking job opportunities
• Company accounts, for organizations seeking to hire talent

You agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information on your profile, resume, or job postings
• Use the Service to harass, discriminate against, or discriminate in hiring decisions on any legally protected basis
• Scrape, copy, or misuse data from the Service outside of its intended use
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Companies using the Service to post job opportunities or hire Students agree to comply with all applicable employment and labor laws, including anti-discrimination laws, in their hiring practices. TalentConnect is a matching platform and is not a party to any employment relationship formed between a Company and a Student.

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service, including your profile, resume, portfolio links, and job postings. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, display, and share it as needed to operate the Service, for example showing your profile to Companies you have been matched with.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you submit and that it does not infringe the rights of others.

The Service, including its software, matching engine, assessments, design, and branding, is owned by TalentConnect and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

Student accounts are free to create and use. Companies may be charged for certain hiring features; where fees apply, we will disclose them before you incur any charge. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that a Student will receive a job offer, that a Company will fill a role, or that any match will result in employment. We do not verify every claim made by Students or Companies and encourage both parties to conduct their own due diligence.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TalentConnect will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost income, lost opportunities, or loss of data, arising from your use of the Service or from any employment relationship formed through it.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, or if we are required to do so by law. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana. Where the Service processes personal data, we do so in line with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
